From Spring, 2022, it became incorporated with Tile Hill North Residents\u2019 Association which had earlier gone into voluntary dissolution.<\/span><\/p><p>The Partnership comprises a <strong>Core Group<\/strong> and <strong>Stakeholders<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The <strong>Core Group<\/strong> meets 6-7 times a year and discusses issues concerning the area. There are eight people in the Core Group, each with social expertise and knowledge of the problems, needs and successes in the area. It is a constituted group with a formal committee structure and financial assets.<\/p><p>Even though three of the Core Group members are part of the religious community in Tile Hill, their advice\/decisions etc. are not influenced by their religious beliefs.\u00a0 Moreover, the Core Group is balanced by members who are not members of any religious order.<\/p><p><b>Current members<\/b> (February 2023) are:<\/p><ul><li>Father Ed Backhouse, Vicar of St Oswald\u2019s Church, Jardine Crescent, <strong>Chairperson<\/strong><\/li><li>Pastor John Bernard, Limbrick Wood Baptist Church.<\/li><li>Andy Duncan, <b>Secretary <\/b>and <b>Fund Raise<\/b>r, AJD Regeneration<\/li><li>Mack Harris, Chair of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Council and Resident<\/li><li>Jo Kerr, Community Cohesion, Finham Park 2 Secondary School<\/li><li>Cllr Julia LePoidevin, <b>Treasurer <\/b>and City Councillor for Woodlands Ward<\/li><li>Sarah Simpkins, Change Manager, Coventry City Council<\/li><li>Sharon Thomas, Community Resilience Lead, Coventry City Council<\/li><li>Joy Warren, <b>Website Admin<\/b>.<\/li><\/ul><p>The <strong>Stakeholders<\/strong> are advisors\/professionals employed by various organisations in Coventry who work to improve the lives of people in the area. They meet several times during the year and report back to the Core Group including once at the AGM. They act in an advisory capacity as well as being proactive at progressing initiatives suggested by themselves or suggested to them by the Core Group.<\/p><p><b>Organisations to which Stakeholders belong<\/b><\/p><p>Coventry City Council (members and officers)\u00a0<\/p><p>St Oswald\u2019s Anglican Church<\/p><p>St James Anglican Church\u00a0<\/p><p>St Andrews Anglican Church\u00a0<\/p><p>The Seventh Day Adventist Church\u00a0<\/p><p>Limbrick Wood Baptist Church<\/p><p>Our Lady Catholic Church\u00a0<\/p><p>Tile Hill Library<b><br \/><\/b><\/p><h4>&#8230; and more<\/h4><p>The AGM and the Stakeholders&#8217; meetings are open to residents.<\/p><p>The Partnership is funded by grants. The money from these grants is used to initiate programmes aimed at improving lives in the area. The money is not used to help individuals but to enhance the lives of groups of people.<\/p><h2>Recent initiatives and projects have been:<\/h2><p><b>* Knife Crime reduction by holding classes.
